For Homeowners
Eave Advantages
Structure
Eave operates off of a blend of centralized structure and local, vetted installation companies. These installation experts know their area, and haven’t grown too large for their operations. This means you get the best of both worlds: a national operation that standardizes equipment and structure, with local companies that provide the best service. On top of this, Eave manages an additional layer of quality control to ensure a seamless experience and high standards with every project. Our national structure gives us better pricing on equipment, and allows us to offer the best warranties that manufacturers offer.
Process
Eave works through a B2B model, meaning that all of our introductions to customers come from our partners in roofing and other industries. The processes we’ve built around this, and our network of local installers, allow us to control our processes in a centralized way. This mean you get the best equipment, the best project follow-through, and optimal collaboration between our partners. We are constantly adapting and building our systems to become the #1 facilitator of solar in the U.S.
Solar Detach/Resets
A solar Detach/Reset, otherwise knows as Removal/Replace or R&R, is required when you have existing solar and need to replace your roof or when the system needs to be replaced due to damage.
Eave works as the in-between for you with your partnered roofing company and our network of installers. We track these jobs through 15+ stages, all the while coordinating with roofing and electrical to make sure they go as smooth as possible.
Eave and our network of companies work in a variety of fashions with these projects, ranging from subcontracting with your chosen roofer, to working with you, to working with your insurance company if your system has been damaged.
New Residential Solar
Why Eave Solar
With a network of trusted local solar installation experts, Eave Solar brings the best in solar technology to your doorstep. Unlike traditional solar companies, we operate as a centralized platform that ensures every aspect of your solar project is managed with precision and care. From the initial consultation to the final installation, we control the processes, operations, equipment, and pricing to deliver results that exceed industry standards.
We track and manage a new solar project through over 40 stages, meaning that our management overlay keeps things from being missed or forgotten. We have excellent partners that introduce you to us, primarily roofing companies, to make sure that you’re getting the best package of roofing and solar services.
Our Process
After you are introduced to Eave through one of our partners across the country, we take things into a fully turn key system. You’ll have either entered your information by scanning a QR code, or our partner company would have entered your information in our app after you expressed interest in solar.
We will contact you to capture any needed information, such as your utility bill, or anything custom you’d like to see from your project. We will then schedule an appointment to show you a custom proposal for your home, where we build a 3-D model of your house and can adjust solar panel placement on the roof based on aesthetics, irradiance, and lidar based shading information.
After approving a design, our operations team takes over to make sure everything through to install and interconnection with the utility go smoothly.
Warranties
As a part of our in-depth vetting process, our entire network offers a minimum of a 10-year workmanship warranty on new systems. Manufacturer warranties stand on top of this, and depending on the equipment chosen, will typically last 25-years. Eave only offers CertainTeed solar panels, which provide an extra layer of warranty to you: a 25-year warranty that covers product and labor if something comes up, EVEN if you happen to not be able to get ahold of Eave or our installer (which won’t happen). CertainTeed is a division of Saint-Gobain, a company founded in 1665.
